A classic Heuer 2447T. In the “albino” configuration. Co-signed by Abercrombie & Fitch. Does it get any better?
Among early Heuer references, the Carrera 2447T is hardly obscure. It is one of the foundational executions of the Carrera line and has been studied, catalogued, and traded for decades. In fact, the first execution 2447T is probably one of the most plentiful “first execution” dial variants on the market, and one that I have owned several times over (such as this one, or this one).
But even within a reference this familiar, there are still some examples that are capable of surprising me – such as this very special example, which I am offering up for sale.
This is a second execution “albino” dial 2447T, defined by its contrasting matte sub-dials and matte outer tachymeter scale set against a silver inner dial. The visual effect is subtle but dynamic, as the registers and outer scale read as separate surfaces, giving the dial a more technical and layered appearance than the standard execution.
I have been lucky enough to own one other “albino” dial previously (here), which was the more commonly seen non-tachy variant, and I was struck by the dynamism that the matte and silver dial exhibits.

Within the already narrow world of second execution tachymeter Carreras, the albino 2447T is exceptionally scarce – far rarer, in fact, than the reference 2447NST that represents its tachy scale counterpart within the same generation. I could only find one prior public sale of this exact reference (sold at Phillips Hong Kong in 2020), which provides some support for how rarely seen these are.
Rarity alone would make it noteworthy, but what elevates this watch further is its signature. This is, to my knowledge, the only known double-signed 2447T albino dial bearing the name “Abercrombie & Fitch” and dates to the period when the company operated as a serious American outfitter and sporting goods retailer. The pairing feels entirely of its time: a purpose-built racing chronograph retailed by a company associated with performance equipment and exploration.
Taken together, the second execution albino dial and the Abercrombie & Fitch co-signature create a configuration that is exceptionally uncommon. Read on for a detailed condition report of the example offered here.

Condition Report
Dial / Handset: As noted above, this is the only co-signed Abercrombie & Fitch dial that I have found on a 2447T. The second execution dial is in excellent condition overall, with sharp contrast between the matte subdials / tachy scale and inner dial. There is a small mark on the right subdial and the 3 o’clock lume plot is now gone. However, the other lume plots are in excellent condition and have aged to a nice, creamy hue. Second execution handset is in excellent condition with matching lume.
Case / Crystal: The case is in good condition, retaining the sharp and iconic Carrera lines, and may have been lightly polished at some point in the past. The crown is original and in good shape. Caseback is also in excellent condition.
Movement / Functionality: The Valjoux 72 movement is very clean and in excellent condition. The watch is keeping good time based on my limited wear, with all functions working correctly. The watch was serviced in 2017 and will be sold with the service receipt. With all of the above said, the watch is sold as-is and a service is recommended.
Accessories: None (the strap in these pictures is not included)
PRICE: [SOLD], which includes fully insured Fedex Priority shipping. Payment via direct bank wire and US sale strongly preferred. Returns are not accepted unless I have materially misrepresented something (and I don’t believe I have).
